When Philip obeyed, it happened that the Ethiopian Eunuch needed someone to explain the prophecy he was reading. With the help of the holy spirit, Philip could accomplish this by teaching him. Living in a peaceful condition will be rendered to us in a platter of gold because of a life filled with the holy spirit. Here are some of the things the holy spirit can help us achieve when we surrender our lives to God;

  • Peace of mind.
  • An opportunity to be led and guided by the holy spirit every step of the way so we don’t stumble.
  • Showing forth the fruitage of the holy spirit such as love, joy, self-control, patience, kindness – Galatians 5: 22-23.
  • Drawing us close to God and his united family.
  • Granting us wisdom and understanding in all spheres of life.
  • Spiritual transformation.
  • Knowledge of the Scripture and teaching others about God and Jesus Christ.

Is Jesus a Holy Spirit?

In Micah 3:8 and Luke 1:38, it is stated clearly that Jesus Christ is different from the holy spirit, that the holy spirit is God’s active force in action, and John 3:16 helps us to understand that Jesus is the only begotten son of God. So, these two are different personalities performing different but similar roles to accomplish God’s will.
